I love thinking about how to solve complex user problems. I always start my UX process trying to understand the business goals. Along the way, I challenge the assumptions and my own design decisions. I also enjoy bringing up new ideas to boost effectiveness in the entire UX Design process.
My end goal as a UX Designer is to bridge the gap between UX & Product/Devs, acting as a facilitator that drives discussions whenever possible based on the insights of data.
Schibsted · 2016 - Present
I was the UX Lead of 2 internal projects. The first is a Web internal platform that enables users to create segments of audience based on targeting criteria using data science and predictive models. I’d been working 3 years in this project. I was in a team of 8 designers where I collaborated with the UX research team to design usability research studies and created necessary materials for test sessions, producing multiple concepts and prototypes to test them and soliciting feedback in design critique sessions.
In the last few years, I was also in charge of the user research. Working very closely with the PM, I validated and tested design solutions and integrated qualitative and quantitative data into design work and iterations, also presented research findings to product team and engineers.
The second project I worked on was a Search global component to be used across the international Marketplaces own by the company. I helped facilitate ideation sessions and workshops with internal teams. I worked closely with product teams to identify research topics, define and conduct research, and plan and prioritise strategic design work in agile, sprint environment.

Side Project about Conversational Interfaces · 2018
I worked with an Android Engineer on a conversational interface that allows users to listen & reply to their instant messages aloud while driving. The challenge here was to design a conversational interface in the simplest and most natural way as to enable users to interact with the app without even being aware of doing it.
The context (while people are driving), the accessibility (difference responses of the system according to genre) and the limitations of technology (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech doesn’t recognise so well the natural-sounding speech with strong accents) were the main challenges.

I presented concepts and research findings to stakeholders and executive team, helped with ideation sessions and partnered with product managers, front and back-end engineers and the UI team from product conception to launch.
As part of my role, I gave workshops to the design team about new design tools and user research methods, introduced user-centered design to engineering and integrated it into business workflows, also defined standards of design documentation as to expand the professional and technical knowledge across the company.

I was in a team of 3 UX & UI designers, leading a Junior UI Designer. I worked on a cross-platform music service project (Android and iOS mobile apps and responsive web). I worked cross-team, partnering directly with engineers for implementation and with the QA team to ensure designs were executed as designed, taking feedback from product management and engineering. I participated in software design sprints and iterated on design solutions based on the user feedback received on a weekly focus group.
